After activating the main menu item "View → Only selected items", in the active tab of the active panel only the selected files and folders are shown. After activating this view option again, all files and folders are shown again.

That one of the view options ("Only selected files" or "Only selected items") is active, can be shown by highlighting the background color of the panel. This can be defined in the tab "Color/font" of the main menu item "Tools → Settings → View → File/folder list".
