After activating the main menu item "Edit → Cut" or the shortcut "Ctrl+X" all items (files and/or folders) selected in the active panel are copied to the clipboard. As soon as these items are inserted into an other folder (using the main menu item "Edit → Paste" or the shortcut "Ctrl+V"), they are deleted from their original folder.
