Tools - Settings - View - Tree - 
Tab Management


Under "Tools → Settings → View → Tree" in the tab "Management" the following settings are offered.



Base folder

This setting specifies the topmost folder of the file system tree:

  • Desktop
  • Computer
  • Drive

Show hidden folders

If this setting is checked, folders with the attribute "hidden" are shown in the file system tree.

Show Windows archive files (zip, cab)

If this setting is checked, Windows archive files (those with the extensions ".zip" and ".cab") are shown in the file system tree.

Show link to folders

If this setting is checked, link files (*.lnk) to folders are shown in the file system tree.

Show removable drives only with disk

If this setting is checked, removable drives (CD drives, USB sticks) are shown only if a disk is inserted.

Overlay icons (SVN)

If this setting is checked, the SVN status of files and folders is shown by an icon.

SVN (subversion) programs administer versions of (program) files and folders.

Show lines

If this setting is checked, connecting lines are shown in the tree for better visualization of the levels.

Make selected node automatically visible

If this setting is checked, the tree is always positioned so that the highlighted item is visible on the screen.

Auto expand on click

If this setting is checked, a tree node containing subfolders can be expanded by a single click (default: double click).

Follow location changes in the active panel

If this setting is checked and the folder changes in the active panel, the new location is highlighted in the tree.

Keep expanded nodes, if tree per tab

If this setting is checked and tree per tab is defined, all expanded nodes remain open on switching tabs.

Open favorites in a new tab

If this setting is checked, clicking or double-clicking a folder in the favorite items tree opens it in a new tab of the active panel.

Open favorites with single click

If this setting is checked, single-clicking a folder in the favorite items tree opens it in the active panel.
