drag&drop doesn't work for me, too, when "blocking transfer" is used. Working fine without it.

So, to be clear (for me, at least), when you disable the "blocking transfer" option you have no issue and everything works fine, right?

Yes, disabling "blocking transfer" in freecommander settings or using ctrl while the option is enabled, I am able to drag(&drop).

1. drag&drop with some other programs only works with this mode enabled afaik
2. I didn't use the beta all the time, because I thought drag&drop wasn't implemented yet. So the main reason to report this, is to help marek fixing this or finding a workaround at least.

Reporting is OK, but it's strange that it doesn't work with default settings - since it works for me, so it's impossible to check it for Marek. Perhaps it's the plugin, don't know...
