For example, I can drag "Warner Bros films.htm" but not "Warner Bros. films.htm" even though both names are allowed in Windows.

Is this a bug?

Can't confirm in 830 public beta / 834 donor.

Which FC / OS version are you using? Try the latest FC version if you're not using it already.
